Fausti & Associates has extensive experience in representing clients in proceedings and adjudications before the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and Department of Transportation’s Office of Inspector General with regard to acceptability of replacement parts, and installation of such parts in type-certificated aircraft. We also monitor proposed legislation and regulatory issues concerning the military surplus parts industry. This includes the research and review of various relevant documents such as advisory circulars, federal register notices, proposed rules and requests for comments. In addition, we act as lobbyists (registered with Congress) and facilitate meetings between government agencies and those clients affected by proposed legislative or regulatory change.
The firm represents the National Association of Aircaraft & Communication Suppliers (NAACS), a trade association of 120 small businesses that buy, sell and operate military surplus aircraft and related parts.
